Providing Solutions
Amanda Gearhart is an information and technology professional with 20+ years of experience in leadership, management, and community building in government entities and non-profit organizations. Her curiosity, combined with a love of stories (both fiction and non-fiction), a highly analytical brain, and a passion for sharing information, is rivaled only by her desire to learn and experience all the world has to offer.
Amanda’s early experiences with technology included Atari, the Oregon Trail computer game, keyboarding classes to master those pesky typing skills, and learning to navigate the internet using dialup. Throughout her life, she has continued to build technical knowledge, skills, and abilities through hands-on experiences, continuing education, and self-directed learning.
Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education (K-12 Library Science) from PennWest Clarion (formerly Clarion University of Pennsylvania). In addition to K-12 classroom experience, Amanda has developed award-winning formal and informal educational programs for all ages from birth through adulthood. She completed the University of Pittsburgh’s Master’s of Library & Information Science, focusing on public library administration and children & youth services.
Amanda is passionate about helping creators, small businesses, non-profits, and libraries with their technology needs. She provides website development and hosting and can help you integrate your online pieces. From basic troubleshooting like, “Why isn’t this printer working?” to training you or your staff to manage your daily tech needs, she’ll work with you to provide the best solutions to develop and grow your brand.
