For more than 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of information technology, operations, and helping people first as a public library director leading an educational, community institution, and now as a technology consultant supporting nonprofits, small businesses, and civic and cultural organizations.

My work is grounded in one simple idea: good systems reduce friction. They make work clearer, faster, and more accountable. Technology should empower the people who use it, not create dependency on the person who built it.

I help organizations move from scattered tools and manual processes — disconnected spreadsheets, outdated websites, paper sign-in sheets, manual attendance tracking, membership lists that don’t match invoices — to structured, sustainable systems that centralize information and reduce repetitive work.

I serve as a trusted technology partner for organizations that need experienced guidance but don’t have a full-time IT strategist. I help leaders evaluate tools, plan migrations, modernize infrastructure, and align technology decisions with long-term goals.

I design, build, and maintain WordPress-based websites and hosting environments that serve as operational tools—not just marketing brochures. This includes DNS configuration, hosting setup, security, accessibility standards, backups, and structured content systems.

I design practical automation solutions using tools like Google Workspace, Apps Script, SQL databases, and lightweight custom applications. I build reporting pipelines, attendance systems, membership and finance trackers, and dashboards that replace repetitive manual work.

I specialize in helping organizations transition from legacy workflows to cloud-based systems. That includes documentation, workflow design, validation logic, and training — because a system only works if people understand how to use it.

Before consulting, I served as a public library director for over a decade. I managed budgets, staff, public technology services, and digital modernization initiatives. That experience shaped how I approach technology: it must be accessible, accountable, and sustainable.
